Black Sabbath was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on Monday night, and the band was presented into the hall by Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield of Metallica at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Also ushered into the hall was Blondie, Sex Pistols and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Despite past slagging of the hall, which Ozzy said backstage was just sour grapes, the band gratefully accepted their induction, but not before Lars Ulrich admitted that without Sabath's influence heavy music would look a lot different.
