The origin of Ashbringer is revealed at the Southshore Inn in the Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad. Commander Mograine invoked a meeting with his friends to reveal a mysterious artifact. With it, a weapon known as Ashbringer would be created to destroy the undead.

i dont know if its accesible by the horde because its in durnhold. when ur in durnhold go to south shore and this is in the inn wait for a while they talk and they set up some ox and that comes out did it like 3 days ago with guild (server medivh lvl 66 alliance name balop)

The Mograine in this video is Mograine the Elder who you kill in Strat. His son (the one you kill in SM) is one of the kids playing outside. Most of the SM bosses are running around as children and if you follow them, you can watch them play, using their famous quotes from SM.

dum people.. this Mograine talking about the ashbringer is the true wielder of it. you dont kill him! his son already killed him / betrayed his order to claim the ashbringer.

rofl u think this is mograine from SM - r u retarded? - this is mograines father the original wielder of the ashbringer which mograine from SM took after killing his dad. Also the ashbringer is the postive (brother sword) and the negative sword is the lich kings frostmourne

Well, while the two swords ARE exact opposites, i wouldn't call them "brother" swords. the Lich King's blade was made by Kil'jaeden, given to Ner'zhul to keep him bound to the Frozen throne, i believe. Ashbringer was made by Mortal hands, most likly involving a peice of the dead naaru D'ore. Since they weren't forged by the same smith, they really have no ties, but i would love to see Arthas with frostmourne going up against the new Leader of the Silver Hand with Ashbringer.

i saw this event in game while waiting on people to finish the instance, it happens automatically. also some interesting things: the kids you see playing are lady whitemane and renault,mograins son heh. oh and kel'thuzad is also walking around, follow him and an event will occur eventually
and at first when i saw it i went Tales of the Past 3! anyway...
