This country is made up of legal immigrants as yourself(I assume) and my parents who work hard and better themselves. You don't need the govt for anything. We can all do it ourselves. Self reliance is a great thing bringing you confidence and self worth with a sense of pride a work ethic. Go forth young man, you are in the land of opportunity. heaven forbid we actually go back even further into history and look at how our medical system worked when it was a free market system. For those that dont want to look, the answer is that it was the worlds leading health care system.

Good video although I disagree with the slant towards socialized medicine. If you have ever been unlucky enough to be in an HMO, just imagine that - but crossed with the DMV.

good point, god knows i couldnt hate the DMV anymore, lol. But something is wrong when hundreds of thousands of our own hard working citizens cannot afford it. I think that we all agree there is a problem, we just disagree on how to fix it.

I never knew what I was missing until I started working for a University and getting good health coverage. I got things looked at and addressed, that I had put off back when I was going to have to pay huge sums to go by myself. We need national health care for all the people like I used to be, getting more and more unhealthy because they can't afford to see a doctor (or address any issues discovered even if they do see a doctor.)
My health benefits are worth more to me than my wages.
