President Bill Clinton goes on FOX NEWS for an open interview with slanted journalist Chris Wallace. (Imagine Bush doing this?)
And Wallace goes right with the Right Wing echo chamber lie that Al Qaeda is Bill Clinton's fault. Clinton just destroys Wallace and does a great job! Another black eye for the main propaganda outlet of the Bush Administration, and they're trying to spin it the other way! Classic!

I wouldn't consider this a "smackdown" by Clinton....In my opinion it was a completely fair question to ask...It was the question that everybody wanted to hear...that everybody wanted an answer to...What did Clinton expect? To go on to Fox News and get his ass kissed? I commend them for poking and prodding so American's could get the answers they wanted. I guarantee an interview with Bill Clinton on MSNBC, CNN or ABC wouldn't contain as much substance as this one.

I don't think he was upset the question was asked, I think he was implying that this was a contrived story. The only reason why "people wanted to know" was because this story was constructed by suppressing facts and leading people to assume certain things. (at least thats what I understood him as saying) He seemed to get alot of satisfaction setting the record straight.

Clinton was just smarter and more competetnt than our current president. If what he is saying on this video is true (hasn't been disputed)then I applaud Clinton and wonder why Bush didnt try to get Bin Laden when he came in office.

Clinton was debunked and smacked around for so many ridiculous contradictions the guy is a big liar, and people are realizing that, regardless of news, and party affiliation, I'm sorry if you don't agree. Don't like Fox news? Don't watch it. OH, CLINTON never, EVER balanced the budget. It was NEWT GINRICH and the GOP CONGRESS more than Bill Clinton. Clinton projected Deficits for 20 years with his budget. BUT when he lost congress in 1994, Newt did the job CLINTON refused to.

I can't ignore this though... Clinton tried and tried again to make Bin Laden an issue to the Republicans, but they consistently wouldn't back him. They wouldn't give him the rights he needed to push forward with it. Bin Laden knew this... that's why when Bush was in office he saw the perfect oppurtunity to strike... he knew Clinton was prepared and ready to get him if he tried anything. It all came back to bite the Republicans, but they still found a way to blame Clinton.

It's funny and you have to understand why Clinton went off on this guy. For YEARS the Republicans during his presidency said he was paying too much attention to a "non-issue" in Bin Laden and refused to back him. Then when they get their boy in office and exactly what Clinton warned could happen happened, but it's Clinton's fault because NOW he didn't do enough.
