Okay, the whole "point" of the SNL short is the fact that how many times can a shot person come bACK TO LIFE AND KEEP SHOOTING OTHER PEOPLE. The fact that they keep doing it a ridiculously number of times is just a comedic formula. The actual scebne is kinda stupid but the fact they keep doing it over and over and over makes it funny. Stop trying to "understand it" and just enjoy it.

Well, I don't know if you saw the SNL spoof, but it's supposed to be a parody of The OC. It was making fun of the drama and pointlessness of it all, and for some reason, people made a bunch of knock-offs. (Probably because it's not that hard to add a little music to an actiony clip.)
