I think a lot of us who actually remember the Clinton days as "not so golden" remember George Stephenopolis. He spoke for them and is even quoted as saying "in this campaign we choose to focus on the issues and not side-stepping". I guess it's okay to do this now. It's sucks because like a lot of other folks, I fell for the Clintons only to be dooped. He was a part of it all and obviously still is.

These issues received almost no mention in the first 45 minutes of the debate. Instead it was "say you're sorry" "you fucked up there" "let us pick your VP for you" and other tabloid crap.

I would say that almost all of those problems you mentioned were caused by the Government. What makes you think the Government can, or will, fix it? Politicians only care about their power. They will say and do whatever needs to be said and done to get more power. Once elected its back to the same old crap. Out of control spending, Forcing banks to lend to bad debtors, poor education reforms, higher taxes, etc. etc. You vote for whomever you believe to be the right candidate. I've lost faith.

I didn't watch this debate. Why? Because I knew it would be as SHALLOW as the morning news reported on it! Stephanopolis and Gibson should be EXCORIATED by their journalistic peers for their predictably HORRIBLE performance. Furthermore, how legitimate is a "debate" when one of the moderators of it is an ex-Clinton staffer? Here we go again with the media insulting our intelligence. How about taking off the EPA regulations off of Alaska land so we can drill there for oil. How about building new oil refineries to take the place of the ones that are about 30 years old. The reason for the dependance on foreign oil and high gas prices is because the EPA won't let us drill where our oil is. It's NOT the President's fault.
