It's irritating that you have to work with triggers on the 360, IMO something like the ps2 controller provides a much more viable means on passing strumming sections. My advice is just pass it with the guitar, and switch. Same with One. Those are the only two songs I resorted to using the guitar on expert.

Make sure you have Hyperspeed on when playing that song. Because when you get to the end where you have to hit the Green notes really fast, Hyperspeed separates the notes a little bit making it easier because you have less notes to hit. But its still a little bit hard to beat. You just have to be good and try your hardest. That's what I did.
