Ach ich liebe Linux, doch wenn es mal ohne WinXP nicht gehen sollte (weil Vista kommt mir ehh nicht in die T
üte!!) dann läuft XP auch wunderbar unter Ubuntu Linux im Fullscreen in FullSpeed . Wer jetzt den Schritt weg von Microsoft hin zu Linux noch nicht gewagt hat !!! HIER GEBE ICH EUCH GRUND DAZU !!!!

hey ich hab ne frage . meine freundin nervt mich schon ewig dass ihc auf ubuntu umsteigen soll. ich bin acuh interessiert dass mal aus zu probiern und da ihc grad seh dass ihc ebides haben kann hab ich die frage ob man dann auch die windows games wie battlefield 2 spielen kann. ich hab einen pc mit 2.8 Ghz und 2048 mb RAM SP2 und XP direct x 9. 2. farge: wie kann ich ubuntu installieren ohne meine festplatte zu formatieren?

Einfach Unbuntu auf die freie Festplatte installieren. Der Bootloader erkennt die XP-Installation in der Regel automatisch und du kannst beim Booten ausw
ählen, welches O/S du starten willst.

verdammt verdammt ich kriegs nich hin vmware unter ubuntu zu installieren so das ich xp laufen lassen kann so wie du :( ich komm mit dem installieren und dem terminal nich klar weis garnich WAS ich installieren solldas vmware installiert wird null ahnung aber wubi rules ;-)

3D unter einer VM Umgebung ist NICHT das Ziel und ist bis auf beschr
änkte Möglichkeiten zB bei VMWare (DX8 Experimentell) ansonsten nicht möglich ! Aber für deine Anwendungen wie das genannte Guild Wars nutzt Du besser Wine oder wenn Du Probleme mit der Config hast google mal nach GameOnLinux oder Cedega usw. Das hilft Dir weiter ! Gruss
