eh, lmcseveney was probably referring to graciemaeve's words as well. and yeah graciemaeve, you must be pretty shallow if that was as deep as you could dig into the movie. you thought the comedy was in all the places not meant to be comedic, and failed to even notice the funny parts, instead preferring to dismiss the parts that require emotional maturity, something you lack.
try redeeming yourself. what is a "real" film, in your opinion?

I agree. The point of Juno was that Ellen Page's character did NOT let her situation get the best of her. When she found out she was pregnant she told her parents, considered her options, opted to give the child up for adoption, and carried through with that plan to the end. While she may not have shown maturity with having unprotected sex, she DID take charge of the situation.
This is what divides it from the majority of teen pregnancy movies.
