Lou is an honest guy; however, our friends in Congress need to wake up. Congress comprises some of the most intelligent people in America--there is now way they do not know what is going on. Actually, intelligence is not even required to watch CNN and understand issues the American people are concerned with. Either Congress is pulling a blindfold over their own eyes or someone else is making them.

i agree. the thing about conspiracy/alternative theories is it makes people think: instead of being like sheep, it makes them question the official line. I believe that is always healthy. It fosters critical thinking, being able to distinguish and parse through the rubbish and the treasure alike. It only gets ridiculous when people start to think everything is a conspiracy and become paranoiacs.

History is the story of power versus liberty. Most people are way too trusting of their governments or anyone with power. The rabbit hole indeed goes down much farther than most people know. In Britian we joined the EEA European Economic Area for free trade as part of a common market. We had a referendum which was accepted, but our politicians lied about the intended outcome; a EU superstate. Our constitution is in the process of being subverted by the EU constitution or Lisbon treaty, which is currently being ratified

The problem is most people are just not aware of what is going on. The average person in the US watches an average of 23 hours of TV a week, and in the UK it is similar. First of all, watching the crap they have on TV is terrible for your soul and mind, but it is also just propaganda, more with what they don't mention than anything they try to spin. We must spread the word far and wide. I look down on these sheep, they are condemning their children to poverty and tyranny.

I understand that resistance to the North American Union is essential, however, the problem is how? Congress will likely ignore any messages sent to them. Unless you go to the Supreme Courts and convince them that this is unconstitutional (I don't know if it is), then very little can be done. The primary question is what to do about it.
