Here's what happened to me about an hour ago.I recieved an emai1 from Sony saying to contact their tech support @ 1-800-345-7669. They're replacing my 60 GB manufactured in Jan,2007. Units that have the Broadband CPU, plus PS1, and PS2 chips ,INSTEAD of the EMULATOR chip cannot run GTA4, so they're replacing units free of charge.Call,them and give them the serial #,model #, and Manufacture date to see if you unit slated for replacement.

the 360 version from my expirence and what others have told me it freezes while in game but only up 2 about anywhere from the first-third missions

I had the same issue on the Xbox version but it happened randomly whilst playing which is worse cause you could have halfway through a mission. I sent the game back and was told there were faulty copies out there and there are alot of them out there due to the fact alot of copies of GTA IV were made. There is always a % failure rate when they make the discs.

If it's 360 version maybe try cleaning the disk mine always freezed up but then I cleaned the disk and it freezes less now

i dont know if u guys know but the ps3 was the reason for gta 4's delay rockstar was already done with 360 version in time for october but the ps3 version took longer to create because the console is so "powerful" and yet the ps3 version and yet the ps3 version is the one that f'd up I find it funny! 360 4 life

It's actually a fact that microsoft saw that gta IV would be dratistically better on the ps3 (wich it is) so they payed ALOT of cash to get some "downloadable content" just to even stand the slightest chance against ps3... i mean xbox is for poor people, people that can't afford quality. and the download shit will be on ps3 aswell, rockstar has stated that.. so stfu xbox is crap and for crap people.. learn 2 not be cheap and get ps3, get a job lulz;)
