Last week, the BBC ran an article talking about how global temperatures haven't increased since 1998--an objective fact. But facts don't matter to the environmentalist wacko crowd. Angry about the article, an activist threatened the BBC reporter who caved almost immediately and censored himself.

9. Looking at historical atmospheric levels, by --graph analysis-- shows that the overall atmospheric temp of the world is on a path to a cooling on the cycle. 10. CO2 and temp have shown a 100 to 1000 degree (celcius) lag historically.

So I want to know - how directly, measurably significant is CO2 to producing global warming comparitively to other more productive "greenhouse gases,"....are we heating or cooling in the long term, it is hemisphericially related, are the trends related to manmade CO2 or the same changes occuring on the other planets that are occuring because of the well documented increase solar heating.

Co2 by itself is rather insignificant, and this is not really debated by anyone except the ignorant. It's the speculated feedback the whole theory rests on that gives us doomsday scenarios. Of course, this supposed feedback (which relies on water vapor btw) cannot be observed, only modeled. Observations show that the key signature that would indicate such a feedback mechanism is our culprit (increased troposheric warming) simply isn't there. But the issue is political so the fairy tales continue

I think my biggest beef with Global Warming, is that it isn't happening..... There's nothing to debate. There is no Global Warming. Burning fossil fuels is still stupid, because it creates dependency and we don't even need it. But alternatives would mean we don't have to buy oil... Stifle alternatives. Sick and Wrong. Global Warming aside, pollution is unhealthy. I never heard of Glenn Beck before, but he's right. Global Warming is the biggest scam in history.

I still laughed at their report on recent flooding in England, where they stated "...although experts are stating that global warming was not the cause, nonetheless, it shows what will soon start to happen as climate change takes effect." If you have issues with my post then take it up with the APS which is the source. You provide a quote from one individual who states an opinion. I posted a rebuttal from the APS. You also posted Daily Tech's article which misrepresented the APS. Not the first time they have done something like this and regrettably not the last.
