à di meno, ma ha più problemi in curva degli altri e inoltre è molto lento alla partenza...quindi non si può dire che è avvantaggiato

That would be an advantage in 1500, 3000 or 8000m.
Not in 100, 200 or 400m The muscles in this kind of athletes are designed to be explosive (anaerobic). Wich means that the muscle doesn´t need oxygen as much as other athletes may do. This is not an advantage in Pistorius. The abscence of a possible insertion for his quadriceps is a MAJOR dissad
vantage though.

(sorry for bad english) In any case, if you are slower than your opponents for 3/4 of race and than in the final rush you overtake a lot of them, means that there is something wrong. Pistorius doesn't have physical skills to make these times, it eas measured (i'm talking about values of heart, lungs, etc.) In other words he makes a minor effort to make the same time of opponents.

Anyway if prothesis are allowed in normal races, why we don't allow wheelchairs in normal marathon as well (half an hour less than normal runners)? After that, we can make a total deregulation, ending up with rockets under the feets...

Pistorius ha rotto i coglioni, con quei lavori alle gambe pesa 10 chili di meno ed ha una spinta elastica consederevolmente maggiore,
è inutile stare a compatirlo xkè le cose stanno così. Poi se hanno inventato le paralimpiadi apposta x chi è diversamente abile nn vedo xkè debba partecipare anke a quelle normali, alla quali tra l' altro nn è nemmeno riuscito a qualificarsi.

Ok, Pistorius wants to run with "normal" athletes. But can you please give me an answer to my doubt: if he is allowed to do this, I think that the athletes on wheelchair wants to participate against normal runners as well (and they run the marathon in 1h40' so they would win easily). Would you agree with this situation? I think no Pistorius-fan can give a reasonable answer to my question.
