I usually throw the sections on the wheel, let air dry then attach some- cover and finish attaching and carving the following day.

Thank you for sharing this project. I would love to see you assemble one see how you alter it. Those are just so cool looking I am curious as to how you take the cylinder and create such a cool peice that looks more like sculpture!
