fregelover: Along with making them cuter, you seem to forget that the Muppet Babies existed in puppet form before the cartoon was created via Piggy's dream sequence in "Muppets Take Manhattan" (which inspired the cartoon) and again--during the cartoon's run--in "A Muppet Family Christmas" that brought together all The Muppets from Sesame Street, The Muppet Show/Muppet Babies, and Fraggle Rock.
