Kirtan facilitator and musician, Ari, wanders through Sanskrit devotional chant, Jai Ambe, amidst sage gardens in San Diego. This is a Hindu, Bhakti Yoga chant in praise of the Divine Mother or feminine aspects of God/Goddess. The translation is:
"Hail to the World Mother!
Hail to Mother Bhavani!
Hail to the Destroyer of Misery, Durga!
Hail to the Destroyer of Death, Kali!
Hail to Radha, Rukmini, and Sita!"

Thanks so much. Really glad you appreciate it. This is a Hindu devotional song to the Divine Mother, or Goddess. If you click on "more info" in the top right corner, I've included the translation in English. "Jai" means "hail" or "praise" and is almost like Hallelujah. "Ambe" is a form of the word Mother. Durga, Kali, Sita, etc., are all various Hindu Goddesses who are ultimately manifestations of the Divine Mother, the feminine aspect of God, so dear to Indian culture.
