E.T. may be the best movie Steven Spielberg has ever made. And according to some the definition of movie-making as a whole. It's the touching story of a lonely boy who finds a stranded alien who's left behind by his comrads. Quickly their friendship blossoms until the boy realises his friend needs to go home. The film was released in 1982 (this year will be the twenty-fifth anniversary) and was re-released in 2002 with some extra touches. This clip is a tribute to a classic in movie-making history.
The song is 'Our Farewell' by the Dutch band Within Temptation.

honestly as a child ET freaked me and out I thought he was gonna take me to space and kidnap but really, like spielberg said, hes got a face only a mother could love. I saw the whole show again last friday, it's sad really it is. but the film in my opinion is among spielbergs best work and one of my favorite movies of all time. the whole story is a modern day jesus allegory. just like superman :( , most ppl didnt realize this back in the day. you live on little dude on the green planet.
