My interest in Mable Normand was started with the musical "Mack and Mabel". Her love affair with Mack Sennett. It's tragic her early death too

My interest in Mabel began after discovering the enormous contribution she made to film while remaining relatively unknown. On the other hand, Chaplin owed his professional life to Normand, actually contributed less, but is looked upon as a film genius with a name still recognized worldwide 90 years after his best films were released. Guess we all need a good PR man.

Chaplin and Sennett had good reason to be crying. As to Conklin, he simply lost the dearest of friends with whom he co-starred in numerous movies.
