DON'T DO IT THIS WAY.Them lcd flaps on the side tears like tissue. Once you get a single rip in one you wasted 100$ dollars. Try LCD PANEL in stead.

i already did this with a 15" Medion LCD..
picture quality is perfect... but you have to use a fan to keep the display from getting to hot or even melting..
one big drawback: power consumption :(
my OH-Projector alone (without LCD) uses 360Watt :(
