I don't understand why people have a dislike of tranvestites, if they want to become the opposte gender then nothing should stop them, personally i'm neither a tranny or a tranny chaser but nobody likes the body their born with, i don't like my legs or my nose, and maybe i'll get surgery in the future, or maybe not, but if anybody whats to change their anatomy then go them, for they are human.

Appreciate the support but I would like to make one clarification. Transvestites are people who dress in the clothing opposite their gender for sexual pleasure. That's all fine and dandy if someone wants to do that, but I just don't want to be equated with that kind of thing.
I'd prefer "girl", but if it must be made clear that I wasn't born a girl then "transgirl" or "transsexual" will do nicely.

I'm a non-trans lesbian who has dated one trans woman and slept with a handful more. I've been involved with more non-trans women than trans women. I'm dating a non-trans woman now, but if I were single, I'd totally date another trans woman if she was someone that I liked. I sometimes wonder if trans women would be wary about dating someone like me, who has a history of dating other trans women. Do I fall into the chaser category? I don't think that makes you a chaser at all. Fact of the matter is that if it weren't for people who aren't concerned about dating transfolk then we'd have no one to date... and how fun is that. I would say that that is a over generalization. I know plenty of cisgender women who are way better at that than transwomen, and vice-versa. I mean, I know some guys who like transwomen because they can usually relate better on things like playing video games or reading comic books, and I'm fine with that... I guess my point is that you can't toss everyone who is trans or everyone who is cisgendered into a box and say "this one thing applies to all of you".

Thanks for your quick response. I certainly wouldn't expect all transwomen to be better (or worse) than all cisgenderedwomen, but I would expect the probability of certain attributes to be different. From your answer, it does not appear that someone pursueing a transwoman because of characteristic(s) unrelated to the presence of a penis fits your perception of a "trannychaser".

I don't think that is just a trans thing... in my experience that is just a woman thing. I don't feel i can speak to this topic very well since I would never be the "other woman"... I respect myself more than that... I'll agree that there are people like that out there who are trans, but that is such a small percentage that I hardly think it would be fair to apply that standard to all, or even most, trans women.

The other thing here is that, and this was really the point of this specific video, is that I don't want some guy to be with me because he is "curious"... to me I'm just a girl, and I want to be treated like that in whatever relationship I choose to be in... I'm sorry to hear that, and I could see how it might shape some of your views. Unfortunately it is true that many men seek out the company of transwomen because they want to "experiment" with their sexuality but don't want to "be a faggot". I find that just as detestable as you do, though for different reasons.
