fyi...."Morning Has Broken" was a Christian hymn long before Cat did a remake of it. The son was actually written in the 1920's....and you're right Cat always gravitated toward the spiritual it seems. I heard him talk about this song in an interview and he remembers taking it from a book of Christian hymns. I'd say it was a great decision ....and he remade the song beautifully.

transcribe it for my harpsichord. I lot of
'modern' (ie, after 1900! LOL) sound great
on harpsichord, which believe it or not
is closer to a guitar than it is a piano.
