Is that like Vanilla Ice denying that he used Queen's "Under pressure" because its slightly different? I don't know Atreyu the band well, but i do think his voice is weak and he uses effects that don't build up his voice, rather it makes him sound distorted and unnatural.

Ok, in that case, get an effects board and dial up the ring distortion setting and save your voice man! I'm glad they sounded good to you when you saw them. Usually disappointment follows when you see a band like that live but it was good in your case. Have seen many bands in Detroit (I-Rock Club, Harpos) use the ring distortion. it prolongs their career (however long or short that may be in todays lean market for musicians). With all positive tidings, I wish you the very best man.
