The music and video are FAB! What's all the fuss about Strasbourg not being Germany. Just for the record: Strasbourg started has German, after the WW1 Strasbourg an the Alsace region became a buffer military zone between France and Germany, and the whealth of the region was used for war reparations to France. If was latter annexed by Hitler during WW2. It finally became incorporated into France after WW2. BTW it's where Bugatti cars are produced.

british band english song(mixed with some man lines)about a city in France.I think its about some german guys who fled from east germany DDR, Berlin(climbing over the wall)to west germany where they met some other guys(meet you in west germany)from there they wanted to go to strasbourg and then they will be heroes(we meet in strasbourg dann sind wir helden is german for then we'll be heroes)But why Strasbourg I dont know maybe because strasbourg is the official seat of the European Parliament.

Jep, this song is about an escape from East Germany. There are many hints for that, like the "husband was a spy" (working at the Stasi), the "surveillance cameras on the Autobahn", or "on TV our friends smashed cement, pulled down the bastards monument"(the wall between east and west). If you look at my favorites, its clear that this is not my type of music, but since I'm interested in East Germany History, this song became really interesting for me!
