Hmm... well they went apart and came back together various times. They also had a different line-up in some of the 80s and 90s.
But the band was orignally around from 67 to 73 :)

you know I've only heard Renaisance once at a stoned party years ago, and the thing that stuck in my mind was that the guy singing was Keith Relf from the Yardbirds, off whom I am a huge fan. So maybe it's time for me to check out some Renaisance. So you could be right. I forgot to mention June Tabor and Norma Watterson..but when it comes to female singers, none compare to the mighty Nina Simone..different style but what a natural.
