very nice tutorial on arrays! but you can declare and initialize arrays on one line right? for example int[] daysOfTheWeek = new int[5];

How do you input elements into the array? i mean using a loop i know how to "move the array position" but how do you input a value at each position? ive tried using array[position] = br.readLine(); but nooo its wrong. does anyone knows how????

its an int cmd... and have a setvalue for the loop and then just run the program.... pretty easy...

I just wanna say that you have helped me in less than two hours understand more about java then my professor has taught me in this half of the semester. good stuff ^^ you should continue with these, a lot of people get help from that. it's much better to watch it, instead of digging in the books, looking for the right chapter. btw, isn't eclipse better to use?
