I agree with you that Daniel Day Lewis Knows what he's talking about. However, the rest of the stuff about Jane Fonda was pretty rude, cruel, and uncalled for. Honestly, she's just an actress/activist. Why allow her very presence bother you so greatly as to put that sort of anger out there into the world (especially when some of the causes she fights for are probably things you could sympathize with like saving the environment and preventing human rights abuse)?

Lame Fonda is a thorn in the side of the economy and alternate energy.On the contrary I would argue she is more responsible for so called global warming than any one human on earth because she lobbied against the production of a clean burning energy that is far less expinsive than any other, NUCLEAR. I would also argue that she is abusing H.Rights by denying affordable energy to people less fortunate than herself, also responsible for the red tape that gum up the produc of cheaper oil. Anwar???

I think that Nuclear power has a lot of potential and it's far superior to most energy solutions with the exception of Solar and Wind power, which I would prefer. I imagine those were her concerns as well. And she was also likely concerned for the environment when it came to preserving Anwar, which I also agree with. So if she's concerned for the environment and wants long-term solutions than that makes her seem like a pretty decent person and not worth the derision she receives.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The answer is logical but blindly refused.The intetions are potentially cato strophic.Global warming is not Scientifically accurate. This idea is also never debated in the mass media, Al Gore cannot step into the ring with a real scientist and explain the polar ice caps on mars melting or the identical temp. raise on BOTH planets.Or the proven cycles of warming every 1500 years, and we are willing to sacrifice our econmomy for a theory rep as fact?

Climate change is a highly accepted fact in the scientific community and it is constantly contended in the mass media. Just turn to Glenn Beck or any of the Fox News guys and they're likely to make the same arguments you are making (either that or some argument about cloud movements or solar cycles). I can't say that you're incorrect because I don't know since I'm not a scientist, but from what I know, I do believe there is sufficient reason to believe that climate change is a fact.

One thing I do know, however, is that the earth does go into cycles and we are supposed to be one at the moment, however it is much hotter now than it has ever been during previous cycles and if you compare the carbon emissions with the raise in temperature over the last twenty or thirty years, you'll see that there is a definite correlation and that it appears that that's the cause of the spike. It does make sense that we would have an impact, given the destruction we've caused on this planet.

cosmo wtf solar and wind are highly inefficient...you need to fill every spare inch of every country 10x over to get the needed power output...nuclear is, for now, our best option and a very good one at that...wait a few more years nd we'll be seeing fusion...and that...that will open up so many possibilities.....however one question has to asked...oil companies will lose out..trillions and trillions of pounds (double that to get us dollars) russia...america etc are gonna let this happen?
