I thought Sanborn did pretty good considering he rarely got the opportunity to play outside of his smooth jazz style. A long time ago I got a chance to chat with Chick Corea and tried to compliment his Electrik Band by sort of dissing Sanborn's music by comparison and Chick proceeded to set me straight about Sanborn

I first saw Miles perform this song when he received his Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards. I think it was during the early 90s. It was an incredible performance! I had it on VHS until some one came in and recorded "Cops" over it. I was furious!! Been trying to find a recording of it but so far, no dice! Anyone know where I could get a copy of it?

I have this on dvd, I bought it off of the internet, it's got a lot of these videos from the show "night Music" as you may know, this is where this was recorded. So, I have the digitized version already on my computer.

I totally agree, there is a part in this song where Kenny is playing and is so on, that it sends a shiver down my spine, it's at the moment where Sandborn is trying his best to be better than Kenny and as we all know, that will never happen :) lol
The guy plays that thing like he was born with it in his hand :)
