What about the cultures that existed before Jesus & the few segments that still havent heard about him. Call me crazy but Im not going to worship a human. Ive read the bible cover to cover beside the begats section. To name a few things the insest, stoning of anything & slavery laws were fairly disturbing. I read the bible when I was about 15. If you have kids you should not let them read it. I guess sunday school is there just to pretty it up.

If all is to be believed blndly Jesus has taught some pretty horrible things. There are values in the bible we can all learn from, but in the way they were intended. As fables, fables to help us in life, and if we can't spot the difference between cold hard fact and a meaningful story, then were never getting anywhere. If I'm wrong, i won't go to hell.
