i highly doubt that there's going to be a second season of elfen lied. it's been three years already. it's pretty inconsiderate to spread rumors.
if you want more to the story, read the manga. it continues after lucy both horns blown off.

The hell are you talking about? Nyuu is just an alternate personality created when Lucy got her head bumped. Kaede is just Lucy's given name. There is no twins.
The only twins were Nana and her nameless sister (who died). O_o;
